Financial Strategy Manager

Role

The Financial Strategy Manager will report directly to the CFO and will work closely with the CEO and the other members of the Senior Leadership Team to forecast and communicate company financial performance and actual variances from expectations.

This position will assist with the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan, margin analysis, variance analysis, and special projects. The manager will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making

The right candidate for this position will have the ability to analyze the key drivers of the business model. This role is a key asset for CrossLead, Inc.’s future growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past trends in all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Perform market analysis at both the company and product levels
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, cash forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools
  • Create and brief quarterly and monthly financial analysis
  • Implement financial dashboards and work with business intelligence tools
  • Evaluate and refine internal processes and understand ROI of marketing programs, menu pricing, new product rollouts, and new projects
  • Support Senior Leadership Team and department heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team, and investors
  • Assist business development in pricing for products and services
  • Mentor and Supervise junior team members
  • Work cross-functionally with bookkeepers, accountant, Controller, CFO and BD/Sales team to ensure daily work meets strategic intent
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Associate or Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Strategy or similar
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (or similar); MBA preferred
  • Strong leadership skills required
  • Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals. Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and work within a team

Role

CrossLead’s Engineering team develops world-class web and mobile SaaS applications that empower the firm’s clients – leaders, teams and organizations across industries globally – to achieve adaptability and make data-driven organizational decisions. CrossLead engineers utilize the latest in open source technologies to solve challenging problems in data analysis, advanced visualizations, and human interfaces.

As a Full-stack Web Developer, you will work directly with senior management in architecting and implementing the CrossLead Platform, a cloud-based, turnkey embodiment of the CrossLead methodology. Used at all phases of client engagements, the Platform analyzes data gathered by our customizable Diagnostic Tool and integrations with existing data APIs. The Platform then generates proprietary insight from the client data as well as stunning visualizations, such as open chord and network map diagrams depicting organizational connections.

Responsibilities

  • Architect client and server-side web app infrastructure
  • Implement project management and reporting tools with rich visualizations
  • Take part in engineering best practices, including but not limited to: performing code reviews, developing testing strategy, and contributing to development wiki & blog

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience building scalable and reliable web applications
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design

Role

Our CrossLead Managers support and lead the Customer Success Team’s lines of effort to align leadership, prioritize goals, and increase the speed and effectiveness of decision-making for our clients.

Our Managers will work at client sites, as well as at CrossLead Headquarters. Reporting to a seasoned Director, the Manager will be responsible for helping the team cultivate progressive leadership competencies with the client’s senior executives.  The role will require the Manager to take ownership of a variety of tasks as well as operate autonomously.  Responsibilities will include both implementation and administrative efforts.

The CrossLead Manager is essential for building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, and lead teams to generate a vision, throughout the client engagement.
